We're a competitive gaming clan from OCE built around one idea — that gaming is better when you do it with people who actually care. Not just about winning, but about the community around it.
If you're not deep in gaming culture, "clan" might sound like an odd word. In the gaming world, a clan is simply an organised group of players who come together under a shared name, identity, and set of values. Think of it like a sports team — except the sport is digital.
Clans have been around since the early days of online multiplayer. They started as groups of friends who played together competitively, and grew into full communities with structure, ranks, events, and culture. Some clans are ruthlessly competitive. Some are purely social. Most sit somewhere in between.
Element Zero is in that middle ground — we take competition seriously when it matters, but we're a community first. Every member flies the same colours under one short tag: X0. So when you spot X0 in front of someone's username — in a game or on Discord — you instantly know they represent Element Zero. The tag you wear matters. Who you play with matters. The experience matters.
We play to win. Whether it's a ranked match, a clan event, or an internal tournament — we show up prepared and play with intent. We push each other to improve and hold a standard that keeps the level high.
Beyond the matches, we're a Discord server where people hang out, share clips, talk games, run giveaways, and just vibe. You don't have to be a pro to fit in — you just have to be genuine.
We're built around Oceania — most of our events run on Australian and New Zealand time. But our members come from all over, and there's no region requirement to join. If the timezone works for you, you're welcome here.
At its core, yes — we play games together. Valorant, Fortnite, Rust, Apex, Minecraft, and a lot more. But what makes Element Zero different is everything around that.
We run organised clan events — wipe nights, scrimmages, internal tournaments. We have a custom bot (ZeroCore) that tracks stats, manages the server, and connects our Discord to our website. We have a ranked structure that gives progression meaning. We have a design team, content creators, and an outreach program.
In short: we've built the infrastructure to be more than a group chat. Element Zero is an actual organisation — just one built around games.
We play hard, but never at the expense of the team. Winning as a unit beats carrying solo every time. We compete to improve, not just to win.
Everyone here gets basic respect — regardless of skill level, age, background, or how long they've been gaming. Toxicity doesn't have a place in Element Zero.
We're here to get better — at the games we play, at how we communicate, at how we run the community. Stagnation isn't in the plan. We'd rather try something, fail, and learn than never try at all.
Rank, permissions, and responsibility in this clan are earned — not handed out. The people who rise here do so because they've shown up consistently and proven their character. That's intentional.
Not everyone's the star fragger, and that's fine. We need strategists, analysts, content creators, and people who just keep the vibe right. There's a place for different types of people here.
We're not chasing numbers or clout. We're building something that feels worth being a part of — a tight-knit group of people who actually give a damn about what Element Zero is.
Whether you want to join the clan, hang out in the community, or just see what we're about — the Discord is where it all happens. Come say hi.
