Whether you want to join the clan, create content, or partner up — here's what we look for and how to apply.
What it means to be a Clan Member
Being a clan member means you're officially part of Element Zero. You wear the X0 tag, squad up with the crew across our games, join clan events and tournaments, and climb the ranks from Recruit upward. It's a team and a community you belong to — not just a role in a server — and you represent the clan wherever you play.
Requirements
- 16 years or older. Clan membership requires you to be at least 16. You may be asked to verify your age via voice call, screenshare, or camera — you have the right to decline any step, but may be rejected if we can't verify.
- Active gamer. We want members who actually play. You don't need to be online every day, but you should be genuinely active in at least one of our games.
- Good attitude. No toxicity, no drama. We're a community-first clan — respect other members and you'll fit right in.
- Discord member. Join our Discord server first. All communication, events, and clan activity runs through Discord.
- No region lock. We're based in OCE but welcome players from anywhere. Just be aware most events run in AU/NZ times.
How to Apply
Join the Discord
All applications happen inside our Discord server. Hit the button on the right to join if you haven't already.
Read the rules
Head to the rules channel and read through the server and clan rules. You'll need to agree before you can apply.
Open an application
Use the /apply command, choose Clan as your area, then Recruit as the position. Answer the questions honestly — tell us who you are, what you play, and why you want to join.
Wait for a response
A staff member will review your application and get back to you. This usually takes 24–48 hours. We may ask follow-up questions or invite you to a voice chat.
Get your Recruit rank
If accepted, you'll be given the Recruit role. From there, stay active and work your way up through the clan ranks.
🎙️ Become a Content Creator
What it means to be a Content Creator
Being a content creator makes you one of the official faces of Element Zero. Your clips, videos, and streams represent the clan publicly — so you carry the Signal Source badge, get spotlighted on our Socials page, and help grow the community through what you make. You're building the clan's presence beyond Discord.
- You actually create. Clips, montages, edits, streams, or videos featuring our games or the clan. Quality matters more than follower count.
- Active & in good standing. You're a clan member (or applying to be) who reps the tag positively.
- Some consistency. You post or stream regularly enough to be worth featuring — not just a one-off.
- Clean content. Nothing that breaks our rules or Discord's ToS. You represent the clan.

Use /apply, choose Discord as your area, then Signal Source as the position.
Show your work
Link your channel, clips, or a portfolio so staff can see the content you make.
Get the role
If approved, you'll receive the 🎙️ Signal Source role and a feature in the creators section on our Socials page.
🛡️ Become Discord Staff
What it means to be Discord Staff
Being staff means you help run Element Zero behind the scenes. Whether you're keeping the peace as a Protocol Enforcer (moderator), running operations as Control Ops (admin), or shaping the clan's look as a Designer, you're trusted with real responsibility and the tools to match. Staff keep the community safe, organised, and thriving.
- 16 years or older. Same age requirement as clan membership — you may be asked to verify.
- Active & reliable. You show up consistently and follow through on what you take on.
- Level-headed & trustworthy. You handle conflict calmly and can be trusted with permissions and sensitive info.
- Clear communicator. Respectful and level with members and fellow staff alike.
- Role-specific. Designers should have a portfolio; Control Ops and Protocol Enforcers benefit from prior admin/mod experience.

Staff will review your application and may invite you to a voice chat before making a decision.
🌐 Become an Alliance Partner
What it means to be an Alliance Partner
Being an alliance partner means your community and Element Zero officially stand together. That means cross-promotion, shared events, mutual support, and trusted-guest status in each other's servers. It's not a merge — you stay your own community — it's a relationship built on mutual respect and benefit, and your reps carry the Alliance role with a place on our Partners page.
- Established community. An active clan or server with a real member base — not brand new or inactive.
- Shared values. Community-first, no toxicity, no shady or scummy behaviour. We only ally with groups we respect.
- Comparable standards. Organised, well-run, and reputable — the partnership reflects on both of us.
- Mutual benefit. A good alliance genuinely helps both sides — cross-promo, shared events, or a bigger community.
- A point of contact. A leader or representative we can coordinate with directly.
